Originally from San Diego, California, this trio took on the Alternative radio stations and movie soundtracks with a force in the late 1990’s. Thriving strong with the young in 2002 and capturing their past fans that shouted that they sold out to corporate in 1999. Blink 182’s 3 members consist of guitarist/vocalist Tom Delonge, bassist Mark Hoppus, and drummer Travis Barker. Together since the early nineties the band debuted in 1993. Signed by MCA in 1998, Blink 182 had the backing of a major label for the release of their 4th studio album “
Enema of the State” on June 1, 1999. Bringing much publicized attention to this album featuring a major named porn star on the cover dressed as a nurse putting on a surgical glove.
Currently on the International Pop Disaster Tour of the Summer 2002, Blink 182 still supporting their 2001 release ““Take Off Your Pants and Jacket”, a force in the Punk/Alternative community.
Playing on June 15, 2002 to a SOLD OUT Tweeter Center in Chicago with screaming teenage fans taking over the outdoor arena. Exciting to watch the packed venue as thousands of fans waiting for what they came to see. Blink 182 did not disappoint their fans and played with high enthusiasm and gave the young listeners what they paid to see
