Visit the official Slayer web site to find out more about Slayer, tour information and the new CD, set to be released September 11, 2001
Slayer came to Chicago on November 21, 2001 the day before Thanksgiving
performing to a filled venue of Slayer fans at the Aragon Ballroom.
Around since the early 1980's Slayer today is just as fast and furious
as they have been now for nearly 20 years. Playing the maddening music
for the thrashers of the 80's, through the 90's and now to the new
millennium fans. Slayer was their in the beginning and outlasted every
fad in music with extreme rapid energy that is only known as SLAYER.
Supporting their new heavy hitter "God Hate Us All", and playing all
the
classics including "Reign In Blood", "Angel of Death" and everything to
present. My personal choice has always been "South of Heaven". I used
to listen to this classic which has been played and outlasted several
stereos when I was in the Navy back in the early 90's.
Believe it or not, this has been my first time seeing Slayer, like a
virgin out their only hearing the rumors of what it is really like.
Late
in life and I'm glad that they have not faded away and played thrash
just as I imaged.
